Software Description
|
XL Report.NET is a tool for Microsoft Excel reporting. XL Report.NET is based on the XL Report technology and allows adding Excels worksheets, pivot tables and charts to your reports.
XL Report.NET is a .NET component wrapper for the special edition of XL Report ActiveX that is compatible with Visual Studio 7.0 and higher, Borland Delphi 8 for Microsoft .NET, and supports .NET Framework 1.1. It is a template-based report engine that retrieves data from DataSets and fills Excel workbooks with them.
At design-time, you create a template (an ordinary Excel workbook), bind your DataSets to your template via XL Report.NET, click on the component, and get your report. At run-time, to generate a report you add a line of code, and there is your report.
It allows you to:
- Use any standard or conditional cell formatting
- Use any standard worksheet or workbook option
- Sort, group, and filter data including AutoFilter
- Add static or dynamic charts
- Add static or dynamic pivot tables
- ...and more
